PANONCOLOGY Tumor Board

The PANONCOLOGY Tumor Board is a multidisciplinary educational initiative designed to promote collaborative learning in the management of complex cancer cases in Puerto Rico. This program convenes oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists to discuss real clinical cases, exchange perspectives, and integrate the latest advances in precision oncology.

Sessions currently focus on Thoracic Surgery, Robotic Surgery, and Pancreas & Digestive Health, providing participants with exposure to evolving surgical approaches and multidisciplinary treatment planning. These tumor boards are conducted in collaboration with Doctors’ Center Hospital – Orlando Health and the Hospital Oncológico, Puerto Rico Medical Center, creating a bridge between local and regional expertise.

Through Continuing Medical Education (CME), accredited sessions, the program strengthens professional collaboration, enhances diagnostic accuracy, and promotes equitable access to specialized oncology knowledge, ultimately contributing to the advancement of cancer care in Puerto Rico.
